One of those albums that has improved with age. Wasn’t impressed at all when I first heard it but over the years and decades later it sounds pretty good. Always thought that the cover was pretty good though.

It is a little fey and whimsical but this particular copy arrived in the post one day and I have no idea where it came from. It’s okay but that’s about the best that can can be said about it.

Is Black Magic Woman the most ubiquitous thing they ever did? A cover, possibly better than original, or is the Green version the definitive one?

Both are great, but I'd rather listen to Santana's version with the Latin thing going on. Especially when it goes right into Szabo's "Gypsy Queen." Way overplayed though here in LA.

Nice bit of Canterbury with Wyatt and Dave Sinclair. We get pop tracks and a cool jam (much longer version added as a bonus track on the double CD). Nothing earth-shattering, mind, but I dig it nonetheless.
