Ry Cooder: Trespass OST

Postby GoogaMooga » 16 Sep 2020, 15:29

I am on the third listen of the Trespass OST. Ry Cooder is normally very good, but this one is not exactly easy on the ears. In fact it is a bit of an endurance test. It's as if he took the worst excesses of Jeff Beck and upped them several notches. Oh, now comes a fiddle, and even vocals! Okay, a mixed bag. How do you feel about this one? A keeper? Amazon.co.uk has one copy priced at £52. So it's a keeper, then - grinding guitar notwithstanding.
