Nick Graham went onto Skin Alley and played on three of their four albums - co-wrote the stuff actually

To Pagham And Beyond, Skin Alley's second is superb

You can hear why VC was keen to sign up Chris Farlowe on vocals - I think he missed that gravelly voice not so apparent with Du Cann
