By heck, these boys can play.

What a combo, and such a shame that they didn't get due reward.

Is Simon House the best rock violinist? I'm beginning to believe so.

Seconded.

Thanks also for the introduction to this great band. Extremely unlikely I'd have heard them otherwise.

Next week : Suck: Time to Suck

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bG8P-tsFVw&t=1s

A South African band with a Brit and an Italian – only one album only released at the time in SA in 1970. A South African friend at the time when I was at university (1974) gave me a cassette – I loved it.
Trouble is with the advent of CDs in the 80s I didn’t play it and forgot about it.
Well it was released on CD in the early 2000s I think and my interest was resurrected – hence C a proud owner.
[I forgot I had the CD too!]

wow. i've never heard of a band called suck. i've seen the movie suck, which is a cheesy, campy vampire movie (with cameos by alex lifeson, alice cooper, iggy pop, henry rollins, etc.)

perhaps i shouldn't've brought it up. ahem.

The band wanted to replace the 'S' with an 'F' but the record company wouldn't let them
