We have had a few, and the question is, which is the best deal?
The Catalog box is prohibitively expensive now, but has the main eight albums in vinyl replica mini sleeves:
Autobahn (1974)
Radio-Activity (1975)
Trans-Europe Express (1977)
The Man Machine (1978)
Computer World (1981)
Techno Pop (1986) --> a.k.a. Electric café
The Mix (1991)
Tour de France (2003)
Lacks the first two "traffic cone" albums, the live one, and no out-takes or rare tracks. I suspect it would be cheaper to get the individual albums on CD, even the remasters.
The 3-D Catalog box is the same as above, only in 5.1 surround.
Then there is the Minimum - Maximum Box set, Limited Edition, Live, very pricey and not essential.
There is also the regular grey box of that one, at a reasonable price. You get 2 CDs, 2 DVDs.

I got the basic 2 disc Minimum-Maximum for £3. Best £3 I ever spent.

Dont think so!
The 3-D catalog box set is a live and most of the songs are shorter, different order of the album tracks and so on.....Could be wrong, but dont thinks so!

he's just wanting to know if any of the cack he picked up 'in thrift' is worth anything - he has no interest in this music

Oh, that's tempting, must have missed that one. The live DVD discs are from their 2004-2005 world tour, where I saw them. On the other hand, there might not be much live available in any format, will have to check...
