Much merit in starting from the beginning?
Living on your own is excellent - perhaps the most prog track on the album - lots of little sections, very well linked.
Starting from the beginning is probably a great idea if you're really liking this album. And I would venture past Bandolier if you find yourself liking how they branched out on it. If I Were Brittania... is quirky but great and Impeckable has some great moments as well. Stop there unless you like AC/DC as Power Supply saw them go full-on NWOBHM with a new guitarist and four-on-the-floor drums. I love Power Supply and Night Flight, but they are a totally different animal to what came before.
Spot on

Single version of "Zoom Club" is disappointingly short. My cd has versions of IFTK, Crash Course and Zoom Club recorded during rehearsals in 2003.
Not a Budgie album I've listened to often, so good to revisit this one. Evening, all.

Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Good album!
Much more variety than I expected, the most surprising being the strong blues element in several of the songs. I was expecting more all out rock, they provided great tempo changes, the guitar and bass playing standing out. I like that the guitar used such a range of pitches - a good deal more of the mid and low range than many players are drawn to.
So, over the next week as well as continuing to explore SBB I shall get a bit more Budgie!
Many thanks for the pick & the company, have great weekends.
