I'm reading his 'Me' autobiography and have been going through some of his LP's to get more of a feel (ooer!)

Do you find when you read these autobiographies/biographies they always make you want to delve into the music again?

Just finished reading this .......

....... which was very readable and now about half way through reading the Philip Norman McCartney one you suggested. Much more interesting that the previous read about him.

I find that when a song/album gets talked about I have the urge to refresh my memory.
I remember spending a pleasant few hours on a coach journey once with a pile of CD's, portable player and Ian McDonald's 'Revolution In The Head' :geek:

Glad you're liking the Philip Norman.

Anyway NP

I think I can be heard on this one.....

I'd say it's worth a read to get his side of the story.
He comes across as being honest enough to hold his hand up to being a ****

Freshly arrived from the inestimable Backwoodz Records.
Less pop than her previous recordings this is personal, confessional and at times reflective and self-critical. A mature exploration of love and the vagaries of being in love. Production is up to Willie Green's usual stellar standards.

A taster here

Does it sound any better than the CD version ? My version sounds like they mastered it the next street over from the master tapes with the mic embedded in a tramp's butt crack. Volumes 2 and 3 have none of these issues, however.

There is a difference but not much tbh. The 7"s that most of it are made up of sound OK though. The record was just produced for a Japanese Tour, on CD only, initially. The insert in the record is the cd insert. Literally.
