That's a surprisingly good list, although there'd be no chance of Genesis or Magazine making my top 1000, and I've no idea what number 7 is. Most interesting is the choice of non-canonical late-80s Cabaret Voltaire, I never even ventured as far as that album myself, having heard enough dodgy Richard H Kirk stuff from around the same time.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

London Calling
Unknown Pleasures
Hatful of Hollow
Psychocandy
Gold Against the Soul
Led Zep IV
Back in Black
Fried
Will Anything Happen

The tenth doesn't spring to mind easily

But in reality I would have a good compilation of my favourite artists, for instance I'd much rather listen to Floored Genius than Fried.

7. is Frank Zappa

It was the Mothers of Invention when I bought it. There's a slim chance you might like the odd track on that, DF. Lots of squonky sax as I remember, although it's been at least 40 years since I played it.
