When insomnia kicks in and I stop functioning properly, I always seem to revert to the goth classics for comfort. I was never that fond of this compared to the albums that bookend it, but it sounds bloody lovely right now.

Some free compilation of extreme metal from Zero Tolerance magazine of a few years ago. The only names I recognise are 1349, Myrkur and Anaal Nathrakh.
