Re: NOW PLAYING.
Playing through my Beatle mono vinyl box as I clean the kitchen and living room.
I almost never play it due to the extraordinary ability for me to get brand new records dusty and crackly almost immediately.
About to move from "For Sale" to "Help."
After Help I'll probably skip to the White Album as I gather we're close to a White Album anniversary.

That cover art is kind of grotesque (it looks like she has a labia on her forehead and you don't need much imagination to figure out what the stuff on her neck looks like) but this album is gorgeous. If her previous one, Vulnicura, was hinting back to Vespertine, this is a full on sequel. Tonnes of strings and woodwind arranged delicately around graceful electronics with very little percussion as Björk breathily croons about love and femininity. This is wonderful. A very easy AOTY contender for me.

Lots of guest stars and whatnot on the newest TC album that I have never heard of before. Only got around to this a couple weeks back but it's starting to get heavy play around here.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.
