I noticed yesterday that it's now available for rent through Amazon for much less than I paid the first week it was out (might not be the case in your locale, though). I'm thinking of seeing it again - and I watched it twice on the first rental.

My freshman year of high school (1979-80; I turned 14 a few weeks into the school year), I took a music theory course. I became friends with a senior in that class named Maurice, because I liked most of the music he did - broad church Prog Rock, but also things like the Bonzos - and there really weren't a lot of us around in that school. (Plus he was one of the funniest guys I'd ever met.) Maurice had an older brother Rick who was studying guitar at Berklee College of Music (which I had never heard of before), and one day before class Maurice told me about this classmate of Rick's who had transcribed "The Black Page" and sent it to Zappa, and soon found himself working for him. I never knew who that person was until this evening, when I watched this clip of the guy himself talking about it (and some other things). (The "Black Page" story starts at 5:43.)

Good story. In the interview does he reveal whether to not the Stevie's Spanking story is true?

I watched the blu ray the other day and I've been listening to Zappa on my walks ever since.

They use CD and Hi Res quality as opposed to Spotify that use MP3s

Different amounts of bits....!
