I think the first three songs from The Decline of British Sea Power are complete shit. To this day I'm still not sure why I listened to the album all the way through.

It's one of Radiohead's greatest songs - how anyone could possibly think it's the worst track on "OK Computer" is beyoond comprehension. "Fitter Happier" anyone?

I thought I was going to have a hard time thinking of an example to the question but this might be the best example anyone comes up with. What a rediculous way to start one of Dylan's best albums.

Fuck that - I love it!

It may be the worst song on the album, but it's a great track. I think people go overboard to disparage things that aren't rock or orthodox enough. It's still Dylan, and was pretty subversive at the time as well.

Magnificent otherwise.
They will crowd around us, panting with anguish and disappointment, and exasperated by our proud indefatigable courage, will hurl themselves forward to kill us, with all the more hatred as their hearts will be drunk with love and admiration for us.

As am I. I still can't quite figure out the beginning of the album. It starts with "Something Wicked" as far as I'm concerned.

The Pat Metheny Group album First Circle starts off with a dreadful track called Forward March which sounds like a terrible out of tune primary school band. It may have a been a fun idea, and could work as a bit of a joke in a live concert, but on an album it makes you very glad of the skip function.

Indeed. And when you skip it the album just doesn't seem complete somehow.

I don't expect much controversy here, but I always found the opening track on this one pretty annoying.
