Do talk back

Podcasts

I need a new source of new music. I've tapped out the supply among my friends and I don't subscribe to any magazines anymore.

Do any of you listen to music podcasts? Are there any you would recommend? I don't really mind the genre, and I don't really mind whether it's new music or old, as long as some of it is new to me.

I really like NPR All Songs Considered. A 45 minute (usually) weekly podcast mainly for new music, and quite varied. The main presenters really like their music. Occasionally they do specials which aren't always that successful. During the year they also do round-ups (best music of the first six months, a look ahead to music coming out in the fall etc). And it is supported by a decent blog too.

Lots to explore here - http://wfmu.org/podcast/.

I would particularly recommend Bitslap and Sinners Crossroads.
