I don't think it gets any worse. I'd actually take Eno and Riley over Fred Frith.

Prog/jazz fusion from 1970.

Think this is right up your street C. if you haven’t already heard it.

Only got this one, that’s enough, although I expect C. will be hot footing along to snap this up.

Lovely cover artwork for this album, music is a solid B+.

Edited - after listening to side two change that to B-.

Chilean prog band's 5th album.

2nd division for sure but they are contemporary. I won't suggest they are BETTER than 1970s 2nd division, just different and equally as rewarding.

And why is this site so frikkin' SLOW to load. 30+ seconds to do everything!

Thought it was just me Lord, it is very, very SLOW, almost like it used to be in the old Mojo days.

So, that's 35p for the albums and £66 for the petrol

NEW MUSIC

Released this week. Hasse Froberg & Musical Companion.

SInger / guitarist in The Flower Kings. I find his project albums a touch more pleasing than TFK.

Although the cover is old-hat Roger Dean style, I rather like it.

NEW MUSIC - Ooo, this is very very tasty.

Slash - Orgy of The Damned (lots of collabs)

Couple of stand-outs for me.

Got quite a few of Rory's albums but I think this is my favourite.

NEW MUSIC

IZZ - Collapse The wave

Classed as Symphonic Prog on progarchives - more jazzy than that, but hey ho, wotdoiknow?

Hailing from New York, this is their 10th studio album. Over the last 12 years I've listened to 5 of them. Always decent but not one of my go to bands.
